THE 86° PLANE TEE establishes the visual foundation of CORE 86, translating architectural geometry into a heavyweight, oversized silhouette. Defined by THE 86° STANDARD, the design uses intersecting tonal planes, deliberate asymmetry, and controlled contrast to create a distinctive visual identity without unnecessary decoration.

The Stone foundation provides a quiet canvas. Layered fields of Concrete and Graphite introduce structure across the lower body, while the reverse reveals a more commanding architectural composition. A discreet 86 insignia at the chest completes the design. The result is considered rather than complicated.

WEIGHT WITH PURPOSE.

Constructed from a substantial 300 g/m² heavyweight cotton-elastane blend, THE 86° PLANE TEE combines structured form with everyday comfort. Its composition of 95% cotton and 5% elastane offers a medium-soft feel with subtle flexibility, while the oversized cut creates a relaxed silhouette without sacrificing its architectural character. The substantial fabric is designed to maintain its structure through repeated wear and proper washing, making it a dependable foundation for considered everyday dressing. The design is applied through an all-over printing process, allowing the geometric composition to extend across the garment rather than remaining confined to a conventional chest graphic. Each garment is printed, cut, and hand-sewn as part of the production process.

PRINT CHARACTER & MATERIAL NOTES

THE 86° PLANE TEE is produced using all-over printing on heavyweight cotton-rich fabric. This process creates a distinctive matte appearance, with natural variations inherent to printing on textured, flexible materials.

Please consider the following characteristics:

• Color and finish
  • Printed colors may appear slightly more muted than digital previews or sublimation-printed products. Cotton absorbs ink differently from synthetic fabrics, allowing the underlying textile texture to remain visible and contributing to the soft, matte character of the finished print.
• Ink density and initial feel
  • Large, solid areas of dark or saturated color require more ink and may feel firmer during initial wear. These areas can also appear slightly muted after printing.
  • Lighter tones and designs incorporating negative space generally use less ink and can feel softer and more breathable from the first wear.
• Natural flexibility
  • As the fabric stretches, printed areas may reveal fine cracks or small areas of the white base fabric, particularly around seams, cuffs, and areas under tension. This is a normal characteristic of flexible cotton garments with all-over prints.
